Howdy, stranger. Welcome to the Pokemon Fusionists of Newgrounds.
You're new around here, so I gotta instruct you on the rules.

-The actual thread, "Custom Pokemon Fusions!", is only for showcasing your fused Pokemon, offering constructive criticism, or conversing with other members about whatever goes on. Keep this in mind.

-The senior members of the thread are me, AMP-d, nitro-burner, Darmealea and Howtopian. You will listen to us, and you do not make the rules.

-If you come in and say anything to the extent of "POEKMON IS GAY ROFLROFL", then you will be flamed, because we aren't about to abandon the thread just because certain people don't think we're worthy of the Art forum.

-If you flame another member, expect to be ganged up on. You fuck with one of us, you fuck with us all. Sometimes, if two members enter a flame war that lasts more than twenty-four hours, I will call a fuse-off. This is a short competition to see who is n00bier, and who is right.

-There is one contest every week unless I say otherwise. Do not, I repeat in bold, NOT, make up your own contests.

-Sprite videos will be released periodically on my YouTube account of sprites we have made. The first (and so far only) is below.

I've posted my art on DeviantArt more than Newgrounds lately, because everyone here seems to think I suck. So I've been wondering - which site is better, DA or NG? This unbiased thingamajigger will tell you.

Criticism
DA: Users will only comment if they think it's good, and even then they just tell you that.
NG: Users will comment whether it's good or bad, and give you hints if it doesn't totally suck.
Advantage: NG

User Intelligence
DA: People seem smarter, for some reason. Good grammar and spelling all around.
NG: Even division between college-degree smart and pants-on-head retarded, with few in-betweens, which can get annoying.
Advantage: DA

Content
DA: Art, obviously, but a broader definition than the NG Art Forum; photography, flash animations, poetry.
NG: Visual arts and flash animations, but a lot more than on DA.
Advantage: Tie

Setup
DA: Really ugly for an art site, set up in light gray and grimy shades of green. A bit confusing to navigate; really not self-explanatory.
NG: Bright orange-and-black paint job that changes with the holidays. The layout is easy to figure out.
Advantage: NG

Forums
DA: Literally almost 3 dozen different forums, about 4 of which a user will frequent at any given time.
NG: 11 forums, of which you will probably use the same number.
Adantage: NG

And with a score of 3-1-1, NG wins! But what the hell, right, this doesn't mean anything.

Toy Box - Best Friend: Wow. Just... wow.

Sarah Brightman - I Lost My Heart (to a Starship Trooper): This video is slightly disturbing in more ways than one. I can't find the real video; this is for the movie, "Starship Troopers", in which the aliens really did nothing wrong, but let's save that rant for another time. Also, if you don't call this song by it's full title, it's called "I Lost My Heart". Also disturbing. There is a good part, though - a starship trooper throws a grenade at an alien, who eats it, and then looks at the camera like, "Oh shi-". I thought that was funny.

Eiffel 65 - I'm Blue: For some reason, I find something inherently creepy about this video. And yes, it's the real one.

Linkin Park - Papercut: This may be the most disturbing thing I have ever seen. I'm not kidding. There's the puppet, and the fishnet monster, and the grey blob that explodes into a swarm of locusts... Eeergh. (a close runner-up was "Breaking the Habit", but this beats it.)

Anyways, have any of you people seen The Composer? It's a great flash. I gave it a 4. Anyways, it seems (probably coincidentally) to be similar to this thing called I Will Play For You The Banjo made by someone named ToasterBeef on weebls-stuff.com. It's a little music video for Kermit the Frog's "Rainbow Connection" song. And it's great. It's a little slideshow that wouldn't stand a chance here on Newgrounds, but it is one of the best things I have ever seen. The first time I saw it, it friggin' moved me to tears. No joke. Watch it yourself, it might you too.
